Wave’s mobile receipts feature lets you instantly input expenses into Wave. Take a photo or upload a receipt on-the-go from your mobile device, upload receipt files from your desktop at waveapps.com, or send your receipt files or e-receipts directly to Wave via your unique email forwarding address. Then, sit back while Wave scans and processes each receipt with optical character recognition (OCR) technology to automatically create a new bookkeeping record.

Wave’s mobile receipts feature needs an internet connection to upload, scan, process, and post expenses to Wave.

Your subscription comes with unlimited receipt scans, so you can effortlessly track expenses and cut down on manual data-entry and bookkeeping. Plus, you’ll get access to a live customer support agent via chat or email Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4:45 PM Eastern.

Download or open Wave’s mobile app, tap the “Receipts” tab, and then select either a monthly or annual plan.

Wave’s receipt scan feature works on both Wave’s mobile app and desktop, so your receipts are always in one place (wherever you upload from).

To get started on mobile:

• Download or open the Wave: Small Business Software app and sign up for our mobile receipts feature. Once you’ve subscribed, you can start snapping photos and uploading receipts with your device.

On desktop:

• After signing up for mobile receipts, sign in to waveapps.com on desktop and navigate to the Receipts tab in the left-side menu. Drag and drop receipt files (JPG, GIF, PNG, or PDF) to upload, or send them directly to Wave via your unique email forwarding address.

Yup, our mobile receipt feature can be accessed in our Wave app, on iOS and Android.

You can unsubscribe at any time, but the cancellation of your subscription will go into effect at the end of your current billing period.

When your billing period ends, you will lose access to any functionality or features that require an active subscription, such as scanning new receipts. Previously scanned receipt images will continue to exist in your Wave account as expense transactions.
